
The Pecatonica High School ACES team is hard at work at EIU today, competing in the State Championship! Results will be released later in the week! 🏆 Go Pec! 🏆



Parker Volk broke the school record in the 1600 M run. Parker ran a 5:19.13 which broke a 14 year record once held by Clay Colburn.


We are thrilled to announce the following have won the Pecatonica High School April Student of the Month Award: Senior – Brooklyn Connell, Junior – Keagen Gilson, Sophomore - Madelynn Diedrich, and Freshman – Isabelle Zissler. Congratulations!

Congratulations to seniors Anna Munson and Brooklyn Connell! Their works of prose, both short stories, were selected as outstanding submissions in this year's Illinois Association of Teachers of English (IATE) annual writing and art contest. Anna and Brooklyn will be recognized in an upcoming issue of the Illinois English Bulletin, the professional journal of IATE. Great work, ladies!

The Pecatonica High School softball game at South Beloit has been cancelled for today due to poor field conditions.

Synopsis: With the houselights down, a man in a chair appears on stage and puts on his favorite record: the cast recording of a fictitious 1928 musical. The recording comes to life and The Drowsy Chaperone begins as the man in the chair looks on. Mix in two lovers on the eve of their wedding, a bumbling best man, a desperate theatre producer, a not-so-bright hostess, two gangsters posing as pastry chefs, a misguided Don Juan and an intoxicated chaperone, and you have the ingredients for an evening of madcap delight.

The Pecatonica Boys Basketball Sectional Championship has been sold out. There will be no cash sales. DIGITAL PRE PURCHASED GOFAN TICKETS ONLY.

The Pecatonica Boys basketball team will face Eastland tonight for the Pecatonica 1A Sectional Final. If you have not purchased a ticket, please go to GoFan and get your ticket soon. Tickets are becoming limited.
We are anticipating a full house so just a few notes.
**Doors open at 6:00.
**We will have the commons available to view the game on the big screen.
**If you have young children, please do not allow them to run in the commons. Keep them in the stands with you.

We will have a welcome home pep rally for the girls at 7:00 pm on Saturday night. Fire trucks will meet the team at Pec corners and lead them through town. We invite you to meet us at the high school after the parade for a pep rally.
If able, get down to Bloomington to cheer on the girls. The support on Thursday was overwhelming and I have no doubt we can still do better!! Clearly the best fan base down there.

Pecatonica High School students can go to their email to access the link to the google form to sign up for the fan bus to Bloomington for the girls state championship tomorrow.
Bus time will be 9:45 at the in front of the district office. THIS IS FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ONLY.

The ACES team had a good day at the NIU Sectional! Three individuals will be advancing to State in April: Anna M-1st in Physics, Brooklyn C-2nd in Physics and 3rd in Math, and Troy H-1st in Math! Go Pec Go!!!! It's a great day to be a Pecatonica Indian!!!

PEC #321: The Community will be having a State Finals send off for our Girls Basketball Team today. People are planning to organize on the south side of the high school starting at 12:30. The team will be loading the charter bus to depart for Bloomington at 12:45 being escorted out of town by a fire truck and squad car. If available stop out and help send off our girls! Go Pec Go!!
