George and Mary Laman were special guests at PHS’s heart health kick-off on Friday, February 1, 2019 hosted by Pecatonica’s curriculum coordinator, Heather Baker, and Pecatonica CUSD #321.  They shared their heartbreaking story of losing their lovely daughter Lauren to sudden cardiac arrest in 2008. They speak to audiences as advocates for CPR/AED training for high school students and staff and helped passed “The Lauren Laman Law” in the hope of saving lives.  Thank you George and Mary for your important work and sharing your journey.
