STARS Night
On Thursday May 8th, 2025 Pecatonica Middle School is having their annual event, “Evening with the STARS.” STARS stands for Students in Technology, Art, Reading and Science. The event is from 5-7 PM and the “Sizz N Fizz” food truck is open from 4-7PM.
Ms. Houghton will be displaying a Middle School Art show with projects from all grades
5th grade students will display their biography projects.
6th grade students will present their “Wax Museum” literature projects.
7th grade students will display their Ecosystem Food Webs and Scale Model Projects
8th grade students will be presenting their Egg Drop Designs
Ms. Lehman’s class will be presenting their Human Body Systems Project.
Mrs. Shippy’s class will present their Book Jacket Report
Special Presentation from Music Department
We will also have many other fun events:
Rotation students will design and host games to be played
Student council fundraisers will include face painting with Mrs. Melancen ($2.00), a cake walk with Mrs. McGrew ($1.00), and “Star” photo booth with a keepsake polaroid picture ($2.00)
Used book sale to support the middle school library
Bax T’s will have some Pecatonica Spirit Wear for sale
Prairie Street Brewhouse’s “Sizz N Fizz”
food truck will be here for anyone who wants to purchase smash burgers, cheese curds, waffle fries, chicken nuggz, and craft sodas
Big Jon's Dogs N' More food truck will have Chicago style hot dogs, Italian
beefs, Vienna beef Polish sausage, Mac N cheese & more
2nd Act Sweets truck will be serving up ice cream & Granita treats
