Mrs. Danko's Criminal Law class welcomed back Attorney Benjamin Kimes (Pecatonica Class of 2016) to serve as judge for their spring mock trial. Mr. Kimes attended University of Illinois for both his undergraduate and Law School degree and Mr. Kimes is an associate at WilliamsMcCarthy, LLP. Mr. Kimes focuses on civil litigation, commercial litigation and personal Injury law.
The Law Class had recently finished their unit on civil law and were practicing their mock trial skills. Mr. Kimes heard the case and passed judgement on behalf of the defense, in addition to giving the students real world feedback on their performance.
