Figurative Language Lesson. Mrs. Bergstrom's 5th graders put together a "toolbox" of figurative writing to use to "construct" good writing. Mrs. Berry and her were the Project Managers and students worked with their crew to identify types of figurative language and match up several examples of each. They will then become "master craftsmen" and write examples of their own figurative language and continue to use these tools in their writing throughout the year.
