Girls Cross Country- 2nd Place at the Du-Pec Invite!
Our girls team all season long has continued to improve. After the meet in Amboy on Monday they wanted to come out and do well on their home course and they did just that by placing 2nd overall and missing first place by only five points! All six of Du-Pecs girls placed in the top 22! Emma Gocken was 22nd, Kristina Meiners 18th, Jada Stocker 16th, Alayna Koehler 14th, Annah Dulaney 13th, and Angela Meiners 7th overall. The girls now head into regionals on a positive note and still have their best races ahead of them!
Boys Cross Country - 3rd Place Boys Team Du-Pec Invite
Our boys team ran a complete race today! We had six boys in the top 25 and four in the top 15! Tim Sphatt was 29th, followed by Ivan Ruiz 25th, Jesse Biesemeier 20th, Josh Bardell 15th, Aaron Folk 12th, Antonio Suarez 11th, and Evan Folk 8th. To finish 3rd overall. We ran without our number one runner Liam Hammond who had football practice so for our guys to step up like they did today was amazing to watch! We head into regionals on a good note and still have our best races yet to come!
