Today we would like to congratulate our State Bound track athletes and wish them luck as they will be participating in the State Finals tomorrow and Saturday for a chance to win a state championship!!
Tristan Garcia: Qualified for state in the Shot Put with a throw of 36 feet 3 inches which was his personal best by over a foot.
Hailey Hoffman: Won the Sectional Pole Vault with a school record of 7 feet 7 inches. Hailey is also the record holder in Long Jump as she broke the school record at
Sectionals.
Cameron Osterholz: Won the Sectionals 100 M Hurdles with a sectional best time of 19.00. Cameron was also a Route 72 Champion in the 100M and 200 M hurdles. Cameron is only a half second away from breaking the school record in the 100 M hurdles
Corbin Wise: Won the Sectional 400 meter Run with a sectional best time of 1:02.09. Corbin was also a Route 72 Champion in the 110 M hurdles and 400 M run. Corbin is also school record holder in the 110 M hurdles and is 1 second off the school record for the 400 M
Our 4 x 100 Girls Relay Team of Madison Cross, Cameron Osterholz, Ashley Wake, and Mary Frank: Won the sectional by 01 over Byron with a sectional best time of 56.85. This 4 x 100 relay team was also a Route 72 Champion and is only 1 second off the school record. Our 4 x 400 Girls Relay Team of Madison Cross, Mary Frank, Ashley Wake, and Korah Noud. Won the Sectionals by 16 seconds with a sectional best time of 4:35.97. This group also broke the school record not once, not twice, but three times so far This group also was a Route 72 Champion
