Ms. Lutzow’s 6th Grade Reading classes produced a cereal-ously cool 4th Quarter book report assignments. Students read books, used Chrome books to research and created content. Once they finalized their work, they repurposed cereal boxes into book reports (with props) and presented them to the class! Ms. Lutzow commented, “Because the reports were so creative, it made other students interested in wanting to read a book they might not otherwise be interested in.” Students read books on everything from sports to mysteries, suspense and even romance! A few designed cereals were Chaos Crunch, Baseball Loops and Hot Cocoa Puffs! Hmmm...is there a real “Book of the month themed cereal box” or “Book themed mini-assortment cereal box pack” with a student/corporation partnership?
